State Birds

When doing reports about the 50 States, it is often good to know what the state bird is. This interactive map will give you each state bird and a link to the Wikipedia about each bird. It is interesting that some states share the same bird. In fact, the Northern Cardinal is the state bird in 7 states ! It is also the symbol of the St. Louis Cardinals Major League Baseball team and the Arizona Cardinals NFL Football team.
