About Us

Maps4Kids.com went live on October 1, 2006 and we are really pleased with the success it has enjoyed. What started as a project to show my kids how to build a web site has grown into a learning tool that is now linked by nearly 2,000 schools and homeschool groups around the world. It has even become part of the curriculum in school districts around the U.S.

Each year, visitors from over 175 countries and all 50 states (plus Washington, DC) stop by.

I grew up in and around New York City, and spent almost 20 years living overseas in Vienna and Salzburg, Austria as well as in Madrid, Spain. I went to college at The George Washington University where I majored in Geography! I have lived in Washington, DC, New York, New Jersey, California, and Washington State. I am married, have two grown sons, and spend my free time riding my bike and competing in High Jump....yes, they have track and field for people my age and, believe me, it's fun.

Enjoy your visit and be sure to let us know if there is anything you would like to see added to Maps4Kids.com! We welcome your feedback via email.
